Peggy Noonan is the creator and founder of Copia Infusions, Arizona’s first scratch-made, hand crafted cannabis kitchen and concentrates company. Peggy started her career in cannabis right out of college, at a time that was all about bringing peace and love to the world, while striving for a higher consciousness in making a difference.
In 2013, her passion for cannabis infusion was re-ignited with the launch of the Arizona Medical Marijuana program. In late 2017, Peggy was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia and fought the disease with several of her own products, particularly Copia’s homeopathic cannabis tincture oil. Now cancer free, Peggy has been researching ways to make products even healthier while maintaining mainstream taste.
She is working with scientists and formulators to produce cutting edge products and delivery systems, analyzing terpenes and cannabinoids that address the patient’s needs. After being involved in the industry for 40 years Peggy is adamant about the need for education, standardized testing and proper dosing. She and her staff hold regular training sessions at dispensaries and cannabis education schools, teaching aspiring professionals about proper dosing and how Medical Marijuana can better serve their patients. Peggy has also been on the Labeling and Packaging Committee with the Arizona State Department of Health Services for best practices in labeling and packaging, regarding dosage and safety and is in the process of expanding Copia into other states.
Peggy a native New Yorker, graduated from Arizona State University and Parsons School of Design. She is an interior designer, developer and general contractor, previously in New York and now in Arizona. Her other company, Reliance Commercial Construction Inc. specializes in MMJ dispensaries, production facilities (cannabis kitchen, laboratory, extraction) as well as cultivation sites, with a specialty in food services and restaurants.
